I focus on the partnership between psychiatric care and psychotherapy to help patients achieve mental wellness. I believe that patients benefit most from a holistic approach toward healing their physical, emotional and psychological needs.

Nurse practitioners are registered nurses who receive advanced clinical training in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of complex conditions. Nurse practitioners are trained and licensed to order tests, diagnose disorders and illnesses, provide
treatment and prescribe medications. Nurse practitioners are skilled and
knowledgeable providers and follow the nursing model of providing care with a humanistic approach. They tend to the physical and emotional needs of the patient and implement treatment plans to assist patients to live a healthy lifestyle.

Holistic care refers to the provision of care that is based on understanding the relationship between physical, psychological and emotional dimensions. Holistic care emphasizes a partnership between the provider and the patient to achieve wellness.

What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy, can help people with a variety of mental health conditions, emotional or life stressors. These can include relational difficulties, anxiety, depression, grief or life changes. The goal is to help the patient control or even eliminate troubling symptoms , navigate challenges and improve well-being. Psychotherapy provides a safe space to discuss feelings, concerns, and goals, without judgment.
